Unlock the Memory Card having a password...

Many a times it happens that you keep password to your Memory Card and after sometime you froget it. So there is no need to worry as the Data of that Memory Card can be taken out and most probably you can get back your password just by using a software.


To do this a Software called FExplorer is available through which you can get back your Password or the Data of your Memory Card.                      

• So for those who have S60 1st or 2nd device it would be simpler for them as using FExplorer would give you all the Password you forgot. So steps are 
• On using this software you will find that Password is stored in a file which can be found in C:\System Folder.
• The file is called MMCstore
• Rename it as ".txt" file so that it can be opened.
• Your Password would be at the end of the file in the form of various characters.
  
• Now for those who have S60 3rd device. Its something different for them. They will not be able to recover the password, but atleast you will get back the data from your memory card, so you can continue to use it. Thus, the only thing you are left to do is simply format the Memory Card and before doing that just make a backup of your Data.
